W. E. B. Du Bois

W. E. B. Du Bois was one of the most important African American academics of the twentieth century. In addition to his groundbreaking work as a sociologist, he was a founder of the NAACP. Du Bois worked to fight Jim Crow, discrimination, and imperialism in Africa.
