The Palmer Mansion

This opulent Chicago house was owned by Potter and Bertha Palmer, owners of the city’s Palmer House Hotel. The Palmer Mansion was built from 1882 to 1885 and designed by Henry Ives Cobb and Charles Sumner Frost. It was demolished in 1950.
