The Great Salt Lake

At the end of the nineteenth century, the Great Salt Lake in Utah was a popular vacation destination. A number of resorts were built along its shores, including the Garfield Beach Resort. Opened in 1875, the resort was the premiere destination until the 1890s. It was destroyed in a 1904 fire.
