After the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake, Stanford University was heavily damaged. This image shows a statue of Louis Agassiz that fell from the Zoology Building. The Agassiz statue had been added to the building four years before, was reinstalled after the earthquake, and was relocated in 2020.
