Paul Bunyan, the legendary giant lumberjack, is a popular figure in both the United States and Canada. He has been honored in a variety of unusual ways, including this “animated Paul Bunyan” in Brainerd, Minnesota. Opened in 1950, the statue is part of Paul Bunyan Land.
