Massachusetts State House

The Massachusetts State House in Boston was designed by Charles Bullfinch and completed in 1798. It has had several additions over the years, expanding its size significantly. The dome was first covered with shingles before being replaced by copper made by Paul Revere. Since 1874 it has been covered with gold.
