Lewis and Clark Memorial

Writer's picture: Andrew J. BramlettAndrew J. Bramlett

Along the route of Lewis and Clark’s route are many monuments and memorials. This monument was dedicated in 1936 and tells the story of the Corps of Discovery’s meeting with the Oto and Missouri tribes. Interestingly, the meeting did not take place at this site and instead was held 10 miles to the north.
