Best known for his Wild West Show, “Buffalo Bill” Cody passed away in 1917 and was buried on Colorado’s Lookout Mountain. According to legend, the residents of Cody, Wyoming, a town Buffalo Bill founded, stole the body before the burial so it could be laid to rest in Wyoming.
