In 1921, KLM Airlines realized the power of aerial photography and opened a division solely dedicated to snapping bird’s-eye views. The photographer of this 1923 picture captured one of his colleagues snapping a photo of the photographer. The photo was taken near Amersfoort in the Netherlands.
